Cake
Sponge Cake
6 eggs separate yolks from the whites
beat well add to the yolks 2 Tumblers
of sugar. Two Flour half a glass of lemon
juice. sugar sprinkled over top bake.

3 eggs - 1 cup of Sugar Table spoonful
of Butter. 1 cup flour. Not quite ½ teaspoon
soda disolved in a Table spoonful of new
milk Flavor with lemon.

Sponge drops
Beat to a froth 3 eggs & 1 teacup of sugar, stir
into this one heaping coffee cup of flour in which
1 teaspoonful of cream of tartar & half teaspoonful
of soda are throughly mixed Flavor lemon
Butter tins with washed butter, drop in tin
spoonful 3 inches apart. Bake in a
quick oven watch closely. serve with
ice cream.
