1/2 cup lard or butter
2 eggs
1 teasp soda
1 teasp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour - Put this
mixture in pan on top
ths put white of 1 egg beaten
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup nuts Sprinkle
1 cup brown sugar over this
Bake 25 min in 350 degrees
