1. Sift flour once measure
add baking powder & salt
sift together twice
2. Cream shortening, add
sugar cream until light
3. add eggs, one at a time
beat one minute after each
addition beat well after last
addition 5. Combine choc soda
sugar and water. Mix well.
add to 1/2 of batter t. arrange
batter in 2 greased pans
Bake in Modern oven till
done.
