Graham Bread

1 egg (well beaten) 1 tbl-spoon lard 2 cp. sour milk 2/3 cup molasses or sugar 2 level tbs soda 2 cps graham flour 1 1/2 cps white flour 3/4 cps raisins 1 tps salt -

Makes one loaf Bake slowly 1 hour

Divinity - (small quantity)

2 2/3 cps sugar 2/3 cps water 1/2 cp syrup

Boil til [threads?] in water, beat 2 whites of eggs til stiff - beat syrup in whites, Full teaspoon vanilla, cup meat nuts -

[Foundation?] Cream

Break the white of an egg into bowl and mix with equal amount of liquid - (fruit juice milk - water or coffee) Into this stir 1 lb confectioners sugar- adding gradually until [thick?] enough to mould into shapes - when cold - [di??e]] in melted [choc]olate

Divinity

Part 1. Boil without stirring, 2 c sugar, 1 c syrup, 1 c water, 1 tb vinegar, 1 tb [teaspoon?] vanilla. When it will harden in cold water set aside to cool.

Part 2. Put on about 5 minutes after part 1 1 cup sugar, 1/2 c water, boil until it threads. Beat into in whites of 2 eggs. Put part 1 and 2 together. Beat. Add 2 c nuts.

Divinity Fudge

2 cup sugar 1 1/2 " water 1/2 " corn syrup

Boil til it forms soft ball in cold water - Beat whts of 2 eggs very stiff - pour the hot syrup onto them beat til it turns to a creamy fondant. Add 1 cupful copped nut meats + 1 teasp - vanilla.

Sunshine Cake

7 egg whites 5 egg yokes 1 cup sugar (sifted) 1 cp flour (sift 4 times) 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 " vanilla 1/2 cup hot water

Beat cream of tartar in egg whites. Add last sifted flour. Bake 3/4 of an hour
