Spice Cake
1/2 c. shortening
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sour milk
1 1/2 t. soda
1 1/2 t. cinamon
3/4 t. cloves
3/4 t. nutmeg
1 t. salt
3 c. flour
1/2 t. allspice
Sift soda and spices
with flour. Cream
shortening and sugar.
Add sour milk, then
flour. Fold in beaten
egg whites.
