Saturday, November 13, 1948 - Ola,Kathryn & Ralph came to Henry's this Morning. Ola, Kathryn & I went to Silex this afternoon & I bought a few things. I bought Jean a Christmas present & Mother a vase. Henry, Rex & Robert went to Silex also. Robert, Kathryn & I went to McGruder Store & met Joe & Terry tonight. They came on the bus from St. Louis. Rex, Robert, Uncle Alonza, Kathryn, Ola, Ralph, Joe, Terry, & I all spent the night at Anna's. She had plenty of beds for all of us.

Sunday, November 14, 1948 - Stanley came to Henry's this Morning to see all of us. Joe, Terry, Rex, Uncle Alonzo, Robert & I went to Stanley's this morning to see Maud & Mrs.Bufford & also Stanley. We went back to Henry's for dinner all except Joe & Terry they ate at Stanley's. Mary Anna & her Children spent the day at Henry's. Maud, Joe & Terry came in the afternoon. There was a lot of company all day. I believe they said there were 30 people at Henry's during the day & night. Joe, Terry, Ola, Ralph & Kathryn went back to St. Louis this afternoon.
