Wednesday, September 8, 1948 - Rex and I went to town today. I spent the day with Anna Belle. Anna Belle and I went to see Fred's wife this morning and looked at her new home. We ate at Anna Belle's dinner then Anna Belle and I went to the Show. After the Show we went back to Anna Belle's and I stayed until Rex came for me. Court met, so Rex went to court today.

Thursday, September 9, 1948 - I ironed this morning. Rex and I went to the "fair," this afternoon. I saw Fletcher, Stella and Mary and also Aunt Bonnie Robertson. Robert missed his school Bus this afternoon. It sure worried Mother. she worried herself until she felt read bad when we got home. Robert came on a later Bus and got off at the Railroad near Dock's Sis brought him home.
