Friday, August 27, 1948 - We canned 7 qts of tomatoes this morning. Rex and I went to town this afternoon and I went to Dr. Draper and had my teeth cleaned. I went to the show afterwards. I feel bad. it is hot again today the hot weather makes me feel bad. I read some tonight.

Saturday, August 28, 1948 - I ironed some this morning. Bob Wiley came this morning. Rex, Robert and I went to town this morning. I took Robert to Dr. Draper and had his teeth treated. We ate our lunch at Hugh's, then Rex took Robert to Jessie's and I went to the show. Mother went to Jessie's tonight while Rex, Robert and I went to a supper the fox hunters had. We didnt stay long as I didn't know anyone much accept will so I was soon ready to come home.
