Saturday, August 21, 1948 - I ironed some this morning. Rex, Robert and I went to town this afternoon. Robert and I went to the show. We went to the barber shop and had Roberts hair cut. We walked to Jessie's and stayed a little while. Mrs. Troops and Mrs. Jimmie Johnson came a while tonight.

Sunday, August 21, 1948 - Robert and I missed the sunday school bus so Rex took us to sunday school at Liberty. I taught a class. I just had 4 in my class. I had my class out in the bus. I am sure I make a poor teacher but as there isnt anymore to take the class I will try to teach them. I read some this afternoon and tonight. I took a nap this afternoon.
