Thursday, August 19, 1948 - We cleaned up the house and I washed a few pieces. I went to bed this afternoon and took a nap. I read while in bed.

Friday, August 20, 1948 - We canned 7qts of tomatoes. Rex and I went to town this afternoon and I went to see Dr. Draper and he worked on my teeth. He put a gold filling in front. I dont like the gold but this is all that will hold in my front teeth. I went to the show afterwards. I read some tonight.
