Sunday, August 15, 1948 - Robert and I went to sunday school at Liberty this morning. We went on the bus. Didn't anyone preach today. I have agreed to try to teach a class. I will try to teach age 6, 7 and 8. Today I had the beginners also as their teacher wasn't there today. Robert , Rex and I went to Aunt Jessie Slaton's this afternoon.

Monday, August 16, 1948 - Betty came this morning and helped me wash. Rex, Robert and I went to town to Dr Draper. He treated Roberts decayed teeth and he worked on my teeth also. Rex took robert to Jessie's after Dr. Draper finished treating his teeth. Lawerence, Jean and Watson McClearon came tonight and we played rook.
