Tuesday, July 20, 1948 - Betty came this morning and helped me on the washing machine. It rained today, but we got through. We had to hang part of the clothes in Uncle Brock's room. The machine stopped a good many times but we finally got through. Rex and Robert went to town this afternoon. Robert aimed to have a tooth pulled but the Dentist wouldn't pull them. He said it would be a good while before new teeth would come in and the peace might fill up with his other teeth so it wouldn't be room for the new teeth when they did come through. It sure rained hard this afternoon.
Wednesday, July 21, 1948 - I ironed this morning. I had a big ironing. Rex, Robert and I went to town this afternoon. I went to the bank then I went and got my hair curled. It took all afternoon to get it fixed. Rex took Robert to Jessie's. Rex and I went after Robert and stayed a little while. She said she didn't feel so well the last few days.
