Monday, July 12, 1948 - I have done the general house work this morning. Rex and I went to town this afternoon and I went to Dr. Drayer and had 2 teeth filled and one pulled. I went to the show afterwards. It has sure been a hot day. I read some tonight. Rex went fox hunting a little while tonight.

Tuesday, July 13, 1948 - We canned some apples and have done the general house work. I went to bed a while this afternoon and read a while in bed. My jaw is sore where I had the tooth pulled so I don't feel so well today. Rex went fox hunting again tonight. I read some to Robert. I read some tonight also. It sure has been hot today.
