Saturday, March 15, 1947 Rex & I went to town today. I had my hair washed and set. I went to the Show. I ate down in town then I went to Jessie's. She is sick. I guess she has the flu. Mrs. Pool is with her. She was feeling bad yesterday but up but wasn't able to sit up today. Mother is some better. Listened to the Radio tonight.

Sunday, March 16, 1947 I didn't go anywhere today. We would have gone somewhere this afternoon but mother didn't feel like going so we stayed at home. She isn't any better. I think she has the flu. She is up most of the time. I called Lin and he says Jessie is some better today. They called the doctor with her and he said she has the flu. Listened to the Radio tonight.

Monday, March 17, 1947 It was snowing this morning so I didn't was all of the washing but washed quite a number of pieces. It is cold today. Mother isn't any better. Rex went to town this afternoon and he says Jessie is better. We listened to the Radio tonight.

Tuesday, March 18, 1947 I washed a large washing today. Mother wasn't able to help me so I had all the washing to do. I churned. Mr. & Mrs. Jones came this afternoon. I don't feel so well. We listened to "Fiber McGee and Molly", and "The amus and andy" Show, tonight. Mother is some better today.

Wednesday, March 19, 1947 I ironed today & mended the clothes. Mother is some better. Mr. Green Danils died last night. Mr. Claud Oldham died last night also. Listened to the Radio tonight. I still don't feel well. I wrote a letter to Mrs. Smith tonight.

Thursday, March 20, 1947 Mrs. Ed Sisk was operated on for Gaul Stones this morning. They think she is doing all right. Rex went to Mr. Green Danils funeral this afternoon. Mother is better. She didn't feel like going to the funeral so I didn't go either. I wrote a letter to Aunt Jannie Anderson. Listened to the Radio tonight and Rex & I played cards. Rex won the most games.

Friday, March 21, 1947 Mother is some better. Rex & I went to town this afternoon. Rex went to Mr. Claud Oldham funeral. I stayed down in town a while then I went to Jessie's. She is better & up. Stella came a little while. Sis came before I left & will stay with Jessie until tomorrow. Callie came to see us while we were at town. She talked to Mother & Robert. I Read some tonight.

Saturday, March 22, 1947 Rex went to town today & had his tractor fixed. I washed a few pieces. I washed Mother's sweater and a pair of pants & socks of Robert's. Robert & I went to Mrs. Jones a few minutes. Mary called and asked me to go & tell Mrs. Jones Jo-Anna & her husband would come home with her tonight. Listened to the Radio tonight & I Read some. I called Mary Slaton & she says Neva Sisk is getting along o.k.

Sunday, March 23, 1947 It has been a bad day & has rained & is raining tonight.Rex, Robert & I went to town this afternoon. Robert & I went to Jessie's & Rex went down in town. Jessie is getting along very well. Mother is some better. Listened to the Radio tonight & I read some. I wrote a letter to Ernest Baugh today.

Monday, March 24, 1947 I washed today & Mother got most of the dinner. The wind got to blowing so hard that I brought part of the clothes in the house before they were dry. The wind has been blowing hard this afternoon & rained some. I believe it is turning cooler. It has been warm today. Mother got a card from Aunt Georgia & she says Aunt Jannie is sick with the flu. I wrote a get well card to Aunt Jannie & a letter to Aunt Georgia. I Read some tonight & we listened to the Radio.
