Stayed at home all day. Rex is still sick with the flu but some better.
Monday, January 13, 1941 13th Day - 352 Days to Follow
Clarance James was here for dinner today. He has been helping Rex strip tobacco. Rex is better. Uncle Brock went to see uncle Gus and aunt Ermie tonight. I went to Mrs. Gipson's this afternoon. andrew is better.

Tuesday, January 14, 1941 14th Day - 351 Days to Follow
I washed today and have done the general house work. I got supper tonight. Uncle Brock came home this a afternoon. I thought he was going to Pleasant View but he didn't go. Rex & Cousin will Wilson went to Owensborough today.
Wednesday, January 15, 1941 15th Day - 350 Days to Follow
I ironed today and mended the clothes.

Thursday, January 16, 1941 16th Day - 349 Days to Follow
I canned 1 gallon and 1 qt of Ribs and have done the general house work. Basil, Nellie & children came this afternoon and will spend the night. I got supper. It is raining tonight.
Friday, January 17, 1941 17th Day - 348 Days to Follow
It has rained today. Basil & Rex went to town today and Rex took some tobacco. Nellie & children spent the day with me and they went to Earl's late this afternoon.

[Left Page] [Saturday, January 18, 1941] Jay, Rex and I went to town today and I went to Jessie's and spent the day with her. Lin was feeling bad I think he has the flu. Fern came tonight and will spend the night with us. Listened to the radio tonight and played checkers.
[Right Page] [Sunday, January 19, 1941] Fern and Andrew spent the day with us. Andrew is better. He was about to walk up here but still crippled. Listened to the radio today and tonight.
