We took Bobby to Jessie's and went to the fair to see the Renfro Valley Rodeo Stars but there were such a large crowd that I didn't go in. Rex took me back to Jessie's and then went to the fair. He said he had to stand up but enjoyed them fine. It is pretty cool tonight. {Right hand page} FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1941 I washed the kitchen & bed-room windows and hung the curtains. Rex went to Pleasant View today and Uncle Brack went home. Rex got 6 chairs and 2 tables fixing for the Silo filling He aims to fill Monday. Rex brought me a new stove today. How proud I am of it.
