Willie washed. William Ross came today & will spend the night. It rained a little & is some cooler. {Right hand page} WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, 1941 We canned 5 gallons 1 qt of peaches and made 1 gallon of Damson preserves. Willie got part of the ironing done washed Robert Louis clothes & moped the kitchen & porch. William Ross went home this afternoon. Rex went down on the River this afternoon but said he would come home tonight.
