Lin came for Mother, Robert Louis & I this afternoon & we went to town & voted. We then went to Jessie's & will spend the night. It looks like Rex will win in the magistrate race for is ahead of Mr. Gus Fowler his only oponent. Lawrence truck was in a wreck. Maroncup was driving. The truck was damage badly. {Right hand page} SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 1941 Mother, Robert Louis & I spent the day at Jessie's. Dr. Finley came to see Robert Louis. He says he is a nervous child & partly spoiled. He said to give hime one feeding a day of cornation milk. Mr. Bill Rodgers fell out of Rex truck & was hurt while trying to pull a horse out of the ditch. Rex came to Jessie's this afternoon. Lin & Jessie brought us home.
