Heard that Mr. Lee Schmetzer isn't dead so I don't know whether he is dead or not. Jessie called this afternoon. no, Mr. Schmetzer isn't dead he has been seriously ill but better now. [Right Page] [Saturday, March 8, 1941] Rex & Jay hung most of the Meat this morning. We went to town this afternoon and I went to Jessie's. Lawrence is better but Jessie still feels awful bad. I got a new whit blouse.
