SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 1941
Bessie Slaton called this afternoon and said Fletcher and Stella's baby died about 11 o'clock today. We ironed & churned & have done the general house work. I sure hate to hear about the baby dying. Rex went to town tonight but Bobby, Mother, Uncle Brack & I decided to stay at home.

Mother, Bobby, Rex & I went to Browders church this afternoon to Fletcher & Stella baby's funeral & burial this afternoon. Uncle Brack didn't go.
