Mother, Bobby, Rex & I went to Sis today. She had a dinner for Uncle Joe Wooten & Joseph. Lanna, B.J., Bobby & Jimmy Uncle Alonza, Aunt Cattie, John, Alma, Lin, Jessie, Lawrence, Cousin Sam Hopgood Cousin Herb, Sis, Dock Mother, Rex & I ate dinner. One of Uncle Lum Wooten's daughter & husband came a while. Edward Robertson & A.W. Sisk came also.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 1941
Mother & I have done the general house work & washed a large washing for Bobby Louis. Uncle Brack came this afternoon. Mother & I pealed pears to make preserves.
