The wind has
blown hard all day
& it rained
late this afternoon.
I had bad luck
with my washing
today. The clothe
line blew down &
I had a good many
pieces to wash over.
Rex helped my
wash. Rex went
to town this
afternoon & I
stayed with aunt
Pattie & Uncle alonzo.
I stopped at Mrs.
Daughtery's also
She wasn't at home.
She had gone to
Evansville.

helped fix the
line and ate
dinner with us.
Heard that Mr. Lee
Schmetzer[?] is dead.

a while tonight. Had
2 telephone calls. Sis
