Leona, Nealie, Cornell Rex & I wen't to the Island today and we got most of the kitchen papered. I wrote a card to Mother.
May 7th
1936 Thu.
Stayed at home all day & helped do the general house work nothing happened unusual. Sis wen't to town this afternoon. Rex wen't to the Island today.
May 8th
1936 Fri.
Nealie, Leona, Rex & i wen't to the Island today and we finished papering the kitchen moped [mopped] the floor & washed Ernest dishes.
May 9th
1936 Sat.
Rex & I wen't to town today & I spen't the day with Eula Mattie. Neveline & her little boy were there also. I sen't Mother a Mother's Day card & Dad a birthday card.
