I ironed this morning. Sis wen't to Mrs. Rigney's & helped quilt this afternoon. Leona & Elizabeth wen't also. Basil came this afternoon. Rex came home this afternoon. John Marion & Basil came tonight. John Marion, Dock, Basil & Rex played Rook.

I got breakfast and helped do the general house work. I have read a good deal today

I helped do the general house work nothing happened unusual. I read some today.

April 11th
1936 Sat.
Sis wen't to town today & helped sell at the market. I made a cake, some soap, got dinner, churned & moped [mopped] the kitchen. Elizabeth started for Detroit today.
