I cleaned up the house & Sis baked 2 cakes, boiled a ham and made some custard. It has rained some today. Kate washed today.

March 24th
1936 Tue.
Mr. Slaton is 82 years old today. Modest, Ruby, Loyd Jasper, Edna, Amelia, Jim Nora Lee, Evelyn, John Marion Lawrence, Jess, Miss Jennie Green, Cousin Herb all came to Mr. Slatons birthday dinner. Lonna, B.J. & Bobby ate supper with us.

March 25th
1936 Wed.
Sis & I wen't to Mrs. Rigney's today to the missionary meeting.

March 26th
1936 Thu.
I got breakfast, wrote a letter to Mother, ironed, churned & quilted some today. Sis ironed & quilted today also. It rained real hard today.
