February 13

1931. Wen't to school today & wen't home in the afternoon. Ada goes home with me & we read on a book tonight. 1932. Studied some today. Mother, Dad & I went to see Mr. & Mrs. Conley tonight. Mrs. Curtright, Hugh, & Harpie were there also. 1933. Sis and I washed today. Reck wen't to town with a load of tobacco today. Reck and I played checkers tonight. 1934. I got dinner and ironed today. I have read a good deal today also. 1935. I got dinner & ironed today. Leona & Elizabeth came a little while this afternoon.

February 14 1931. Stayed at home all day and finished reading the book. Studied our lesson's a little. 1932. Stayed at home all day & studied some this morning. Dartha Kirkwood came a little while this afternoon, Cosby came also. 1933. Sis & I ironed this morning, and we worked on her quilt a little this afternoon. I wrote a card to Mathew today. 1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and patched some. I read some today also. 1935. I finished ironing & got dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. Leona, Elizabeth, & I wen't to see Mrs. Denton this afternoon. She isn't any better.

1931. Finished getting our lesson's this morning. Also, Dad & myself went to see Lorene in the afternoon, she is some better.

1932. Came to town this morning & went to school. Alline Slaton & I typed a while after school. listened to the radio tonight.

1933. Sis and I worked on her quilt some this morning. We went over to Jim's this afternoon. Jim's mother-inlaw will be 94 years old Friday, her name is Mrs. Denton and she lives with Jim and his family.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and patched some. I wrote a card today also to mother today. I have read some

1935 I got dinner, churned, & cleaned up the house this morning. Leona, Elizabeth & I went with me & Mrs. Merrill & Mrs. Kirkwood to Aunt Patie's this afternoon. There were several people at Aunt Patie's most of them members of the missionary society & finished piecing "The Flower Garden quilt," for miss. miles.

1931. Came to town this morning & went to school. worked on my English note book & made a posture tonight.

1932. Went to school today, studied some tonight. It has rained today. We have a new boarder who came today, his name is Mr. Bowne.

1933. I have been nearly sick today. I got a letter from Alline Slaton and wrote a letter to Chistia Lee Schmetzer today. Albert Slaton came tonight. Albert, Dock, Sis & I played Rook tonight.

1934. Rex, Dock, John Maison & I went to town today. I went to see Jess a little while this morning. I to Mrs. Mann's this morning also and spent the day with her. Uncle Brock came after me & I went home with him and went to mother's. I am going to spend a few days with mother and Dad.

1935. Rex & I went to town this afternoon. We went to Jessie's and will spend the night. We listened to the radio tonight & had a real good time. rex went down in town with Len & Lawrence tonight.

FEBRUARY 17 ]19]31 Went to school today, Mrs. Mann and myself went to town this afternoon. Studied my Geometry lesson tonight. [19]32 Went to school today. Alline Christia Lee and I went to town this afternoon. Studied some tonight. [19]33 Sis went to town today and I stayed at home & cleaned up the house & cooked dinner. It has rained most all day. [19]34 I made some pies this morning. Mother and I went to see Uncle Brock a little while. I sewed some this afternoon. Mother & I played Rook tonight We played 5 games and I didn't beat but 2 games. [19]35 Rex & I spent the day at Jessie's & came home this afternoon. Mrs. Denton is 96 years old today. Dock is sick. The Doctor said he didn't know which is. is taking the measles or flu.

FEBRUARY 18 19[31] Went to school today, & to Prayer Meeting tonight Mrs. Mann and Ernest went with me. Wrote a letter to Cosby today. [19]32 Went to school today. Alline Slaton and I typed a while after school. Studied some tonight. [19]33 Rex & I went to town this afternoon & I went to see Mrs. Mann a little while. Rex & I went to Mother's late this afternoon & spent the night with her. [19]34 I went to see Uncle Brock a little while this morning. Rex came about twelve o'clock and we came home this afternoon. Mary, Aunt Jessie, Fletcher & Stella were here when we got home. [19]35 Kate washed for us today. Dock isn't any better. I wrote a letter to Mother today. I pieced some on my tie quilt, got dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. I ironed a few pieces this afternoon.

FEBRUARY 19 [19]31 Went to school today, Made 90 on a Bible test. Miss Nannie called me this afternoon. [19]32 Went to school today, and came home this afternoon. I studied my shorthand lesson a little tonight. [19]33 Rex & I spent the day with Mother & Dad came home late this afternoon. Basil Slaton came tonight & Sis went home with him. Elizabeth is sick. She has the appendicitis. [19]34 I cleaned up the house got dinner and read some today. [19]35 I cleaned up the house, got dinner & ironed today and patched some. Rex went to town today. Albert came a little while this afternoon. Jess and Lawrence came a little while late this afternoon also. Dock isn't any better.

FEBRUARY 20 [19]31 Went to school today & came home this afternoon. Christia Lee was 17 years old today. [19]32 Studied some today. Mother, Mrs. Conley, & Raymond went to see Mrs. Kirkwood this afternoon, she is no better. [19]33 Elizabeth was operated on this afternoon at 3 o'clock for the appendicitis. I worked on my flower garden quilt some today & cooked Breakfast this morning. [19]34 I cleaned up the house & got dinner this morning. I went to Jim's this afternoon. Mrs. Denton was 95 years old Saturday. Sis and Nora Lee are going to spend tonight with Lanna. I got Supper tonight. I played several games of Solitary tonight also. [19]35 I got dinner, cleaned up the house & churned today. Dr. Ross came to see Dock agsin today. Dock isn't any better. Jim & Jasper came a little while this morning.

February 21

1931. Stayed at home & studied my lesson's today. Didn't get a letter as I thought I might.

1932. Studied some this morning & read some in a book this afternoon. Mr. Conley & Mrs. Conley and Ramondy came a while tonight.

1933. Sis & I worked on my flower garden quilt some this afternoon and Sis finished making a dress. Elizabeth isn't getting along as well as we had expected.

1934. I cleaned up the house and got dinner this morning. I helped Rex sprinkle some tobacco this afternoon. Sis came home this afternoon. Earl, Basil, June & Buck James came tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight.

1935. I got dinner & cleaned up the house. I got a letter from Mother today. Loyd spent the day with us. Buck James ate dinner with us also. Dr. Ross came to see Dock again today. Dock isn't any better. He is breaking out with the measles.

February 22

1931. Stayed at home & studied my lesson's in the morning. Cosby came in the after-noon.

1932. Came to town this morning & went to school. Mrs. [Corner], Mrs. Mann, Ernest & I went to the show tonight to see our "children" are there

1933. Sis and I washed this morning and we worked on my quilt some this afternoon.

1934. It has snowed a little this morning. Rex and I washed today and I dried the clothes in the house. I got dinner and supper today also. Sis isn't coming home tonight.

1935. I have been nearly sick with a cold today. Dock isn't any better. Jess, Lawrence & Ethel came a little while this afternoon. Rex & I went to the play at [Anton?] HIgh School tonight. It was the play that the Missionary Society was giving. The name of it was [???]
