NOVEMBER 9

1931. Came to town this morning and went to school today. Studied my lesson's this afternoon.

1932. Mr. Melton, Robert & Mr. Vergil Parker took dinner with us today. I worked on my quilt some this afternoon. Didn't get a letter today as I expected.

1933. I got dinner and embroidered on a pair of pillow slips today.

1934. I have been sick today with a cold. I got dinner, patched some and read some short stories.

1935. I got breakfast this morning. Rex & I went to town & spend the day at Aunt Ernie's. Uncle Brack was there also. I saw Mother & Dad in town. I got a letter from Mother today. Sis went to town this afternoon. Sis went over to Jim's late this afternoon & will spend the night.

NOVEMBER 10

1931. Went to school today, studied my lesson's this afternoon. Wrote a letter to Cosby today.

1932. We washed today. I got a letter from Rex and also one from Christia Lee.

1933. I did the general house work today and finished my pillow slips.

1934. Sis went to town today. I got dinner, cleaned up the house and sewed a little this morning. Rex & I went to town this afternoon. Uncle Brack came to town after me & I went to Mother's & will spend the night.

1935. I got breakfast & dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. Jim & Albert came a little while this afternoon. Rex & I went to cousin Will Wilson's this afternoon. Sis spend the day at Jim's & came home this afternoon.

NOVEMBER 11

1931. Went to school today, studied my lesson's this afternoon. Listened to the Radio tonight.

1932. I ironed this morning and worked on my quilt this afternoon and wrote a letter to Alline and also one to Christia Lee, It snowed a little last night.

1933. Rex and I went to town this afternoon & I went up to Jessie's a little while. She is better. Modest, Ruby & Jasper were there also. Rex & I went to Mother's late this afternoon & will spend the night with her.

1934. I spent the day with Mother & Dad. Rex came this afternoon and we went to see Uncle Brock a little while. We came home this afternoon.

1935. It has rained nearly all day. I churned, wrote a letter to Mother, ironed a few pieces, got dinner and sewed a little today.

NOVEMBER 12

1931. Went to school today, studied my lessons this afternoon. Got a card from Alyne Rogers today.

1932. I cleaned up the house this morning and worked on my quilt a little this afternoon.

1933. Rex and I spent the day with Mother and Dad. Mother, Rex & I went to see Uncle Brock this afternoon. We came home this afternoon. Earl & June came a while tonight.

1934. Kate washed for us today I cleaned up the house, got dinner & patched some this morning. I ironed this afternoon.

1935. It has rained today and is turning cold. I washed a few pieces, got dinner and read some today.

NOVEMBER 13

Friday. 13th.

1931. Went to school today. I got out of school at 12:45 and Mother & myself went to town. Cosby came after us & brought us home.

1932. Mr. & Mrs. Conley and Raymond came a while today. They came after their car. Rex came tonight.

1933. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and sewed some today. I read some short stories today also.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner, patched some, churned and read some short stories today. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

1935. I wrote a letter to Elizabeth this morning. Leona, Nealie and I went to Mrs. Merrill's this afternoon and Leona & I helped Mrs. Merrill quilt some on one of Mamie's quilts.

NOVEMBER 14

1931. Studied my lessons this morning. Mother & myself went to see Mrs. Kirkwood this afternoon.

1932. We washed this morning and I sewed and embroidered some this afternoon.

1933. Dock & I washed this morning and I got dinner. The wind has blown awful hard today. Evelyn came this afternoon. Sis is going to spend tonight with Nell Cox.

1934. I cleaned up the house, sewed some & got dinner this morning. I went over to Loyd's this afternoon with Dock & Rex. They gathered a load of corn. Modest worked on my green dress some and told me how to finish it. Mr. & Mrs. Rigney, Samuel, Maudie, Nell, Mrs. Sisk, Ruby, Mrs. Cobb and one of Merrill girls and Earl came tonight.

1935. Dock & I washed today. I wrote a letter to Mother. I got dinner and cleaned up the house.

NOVEMBER 15

1931. Ada, Cosby, Erdine & myself went to Church at Richland today. Cosby, Ada & myself went to see Blanche Polley this afternoon.

1932. I ironed this morning and embroidered this afternoon. It is raining tonight.

1933. I got breakfast, cleaned up the house and got dinner this morning. I ironed this afternoon. Sis ironed some after she came home from school.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and sewed some today. I washed my head this afternoon. I wrote a letter to Mother today. I read some tonight.

1935. I ironed today, patched some, got dinner & cleaned up the house. Basil ate dinner with us. Joseph came a little while tonight.

NOVEMBER 16

1931. Came to town this morning & went to school. Went to town this afternoon Mrs. Mitchell & Joe came a little while tonight.

1932. It snowed last night and also this morning. I wrote a letter to Rex today. I embroidered some today. Ocie came this afternoon. Eble came a while tonight.

1933. Lin and Jess came this morning and spent the day with us. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight.

1934. I got dinner, cleaned up the house, worked on my green dress some and read some today. I patched a pair of socks tonight.

1935. Sis got breakfast & I got dinner and supper. I helped clean up the house, patched some and churned. Rex & Dock went to town this afternoon. Sis & Mary went to Hanson this afternoon and will spend the night with Bud, Emmett & Willie.

NOVEMBER 17

1931. Went to school today and made 90 on an English test. Studied my lesson's this afternoon.

1932. I started my Dutch Doll quilt today. Dad went to Earlington today.

1933. I churned, got dinner and made a cake this morning. I cleaned up the living room and kitchen this afternoon.

1934. I got breakfast, helped clean up the house & churned this morning. I finished fixing my green dress this afternoon. Rex went to town today. Loyd told him he heard that Dad had a bad spell last night.

1935. I got breakfast, dinner, made a jam cake and cleaned up the house. Jim, Jasper & John Marion came this morning. Joseph came this afternoon. Sis & Mary spent the day at Hanson and came home late this afternoon. Stella & Fletcher came after Mary.

NOVEMBER 18

1931. Went to school today, I typed a little while after school. Got a letter from Cosby today.

1932. Dad & I went to town today & I took dinner with Mrs. Mann. I went to see aunt Ermie a little while also. It has snowed today.

1933. I got breakfast this morning and helped Sis clean up the house. Sis, Nora Lee & I went to town this afternoon & we went to Jessie's a little while. Rex and I went to Aunt Ida's late this afternoon & will spend the night with her.

1934. Sis, Mary & Mr. Slaton went to Hanson to Uncle Joe's & spend the day. I got dinner, cleaned up the house & made some molasses candy this morning. John Marion, Joseph, Jasper, Earl, Fletcher, Stella, Lin & Jess came this afternoon. Stella & I went driving this afternoon.

1935. Kate washed. Leona & Mrs. Merrill came this afternoon & helped me put Mother's quilt in the frames & we quilted some.
