SEPTEMBER 22

1931. Went to school today and to the training school at the church tonight.

1932. I did part of the ironing & quilted some today. I wrote a letter to Rex today.

1933. I got dinner, made some apple preserves and moped the dinning room, kitchen and porch today. Leona came a while this afternoon. Stella & Mary Faithful came also.

1934. I helped clean up the house & helped get dinner today. Sis, Nora Lee & I went to town this afternoon and I went to see Dr. Davis. Rex & Dock went to town also. Mr. Slaton is a little better today.

1935. Sis, Rex & I went to Sunday School & church at Browders this morning. Joseph came today. Jasper & Evelyn ate dinner with us. Evelyn, Sis & I went over to aunt Jessie's a little while this afternoon. Lin, Jess & Mrs. Willis Tapp came a little while late this afternoon.

SEPTEMBER 23

1931. Went to school today and to the training school at church tonight.

1932. I finished ironing this morning and sewed some and embroidered a little this afternoon. I got a letter from Alline Slaton today.

1933. I cleaned up the house this morning. Rex and I went to town this afternoon and I went to see Mrs. Mann. Lillian Melton was there also. She is staying with Mrs. Mann. Rex & I went to Mother's late this afternoon & spent the night with her.

1934. Sis went to the all day meeting at Browder's today. I got dinner & cleaned up the house. Mary, Stella & Fletcher came this afternoon & Rex & I went with them to the babtising. Rev. Anderspn babtised 8 people. Loyd, Modest, Ruby & Jasper came a little while this afternoon. Nealie came also.

1935. Annie Maye washed for us today. Kate left Zolie & has gone to town. Dock took me to town a little while this afternoon.
