1931. Stayed at home all day. Am almost sick with a cold. Cosby came this afternoon first time this year.

1932. Miss. Nannie & myself went to Mrs. Utley's & spent the day. We went to Mrs. Melton's this afternoon & spent the night with her.

1933. It rained some today & has been too cloudy for us to go to town as we intended to. Mr. Elvin Kirkwood came a while this morning. He is selling the Watkins Products.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and patched some today. Elmer Wilson came this afternoon. Rex went to town today.

1935. I got dinner today & cleaned the hog heads & Mr. Slaton helped me clean the feet. I churned and made out sausage ready to fry this afternoon and Sis fried them tonight.

1931. Dad & myself went to town today & I went to school, I passed in all my subjects and am in 11 A group now.

1932. Dad came after us this morning & we came home. Mr. & Mrs. Conley & Raymond came a little while this afternoon. Mrs. Hartman came a little while tonight.

1933. It rained all day and we didn't get to wash as we had intended to. Mother and I played Rum tonight.

1934. Rex & I washed today. Cornell and Nealie came this afternoon. Uncle Brock came this afternoon is going to spend the night with us.

1935. I got dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. Kate washed for us today. Leona & I went to Mrs. Merrill's this afternoon & helped work on the pillow slips for the Missionary Society's linen chest. Ruby went with us. She was coming to see us but as I had already stated she went to Merrill's also. I wrote a letter to Mother today.
