excillant glass of Cider
when we continued our
Journey over into "Troutmin
Valley" better Known as
The Devils Hole" on across
another ridge of mountain
into "Thorn bottom" where
after considerable difficulty
we were enabled to get
accomidations for ourselves
& noble horse at a Mr.
Sharamam in the mountains
where we partook quite
harty of cold beabs cik
tyrbuos bread, butter, [?]
and a cup of cider, when
my Friend Cockey & myself
[?] Lt. New wound which
we found to be verry ugly
