I am sorry to be so long in answering Mr. Moore's letter of invitation to speak at the National Youth Congress. I have been away from Atlanta a good deal this past month and have no secretary to help me with my mail.

I will not be able to come to Richmond because of a previous commitment. I am sorry for any delay my slowness in answering may have caused you.
