Dear Miss Quick,

First, please forgive me for being so slow in answering your letter. The State of Georgia does not provide clerical assistance for its legislators, and my correspondence often suffers.

I am sure your project in government has been completed, and I am sorry I was not able to send you information in time.

If you are still interested in Bond v Floyd, I suggest you write to the American Civil Liberties Union, at 5 Forsyth Street, NW, Atlanta. Charles Morgan at that office will be able to give you more information than I might be able to send.

I hope you will write me again, and I hope I will be of more help the next time.

Sincerely,

Julian Bond
