Thank you for your kind letter. I am sorry to be so slow in responding, but the pressure of election activity and pre-legislative meetings has caused my correspondence to suffer.

Unfortunately, I must refuse your invitation because of the legislative session during February. I must plan to be in Atlanta during that time.
