Dear Fran,

Thanks for the letter. I hope we can proceed under the
same arrangement as before; travel expenses for Mr.
Porter and myself, plus overnight hotel accommodations,
plus a $1,000 honorarium. I understand the air fare
from Atlanta to Cleveland and return is approximately
$116 per person.

If all that can be done, I'll try to write a slightly
different speech, and will promise to arrive on time.
