Dear Guy,

First, I want to thank you for your efforts on behalf of the Loyal Democrats of Georgia at the National Democratic Convention. Your aid was instrumental in getting the New York Delegation to vote unanimously for our seating.

I am glad to know that you are a candidate for your State Legislature. Your years of experience, as well as your progressive ideas and ideals, will bring a very real contribution to that Body.

I do not know definitely if I will be back in New York before the election; if I am, I will contact you.
