To: Mom, somewhere in France.

I received 10 more letters
from you, now, and they show me
that you are keeping your faith and
courage high and firm. I'm glad
that you're well, and that Lillian
and her children are also enjoying
good health. I'm glad, too, that you
have finally received my souvenirs of
Rome. th Take good care of them be-
cause I value them a great deal.
I am very busy, and consequently
I cannot write to you often, but you
should not worry in the least just
because you're not receiving mail from
me regularly. I assure you that I'm
well, strong, & well protected by God
whereever I go, but I'm always
extremely restless to get home. No one
can [illegible] me for thats because
I'm so weary of this military life.
