Thursday, 7:00 am.
Dear Kids -
Can you imagine me being wide
enough awake at seven o'clock in the
morning to write a letter. But believe it
or not I get up at six o'clock every morning
and am always awake by then. The
Army has done something for me, taught
me how to get up.
I sent a box the other day to G.W.
That jacket was given to me but they won't
let me wear it so thought G.W. might be
able to. I just stuck that towel in to fill
up the box. What do you kids want
for Xmas? It isn't very far off now. I will
have to work Thanksgiving & [strike]Ne[/strike] Xmas &
New Years. I think I'll get a furlough
about February. Wish I could come out
