Barton March 18, 1870.

Dear Sisters:

I hasten to
address you a few lines I suppose
you will soon be coming down
to Barton. I was at the mission
in St Bridgets F. Guardian kept it
F. Salanus was with him it was
very nice, we had to cook for them
so he had a nice chance to talk
about our Community. I must
say he was so good and kind to us
and stickt up for us very much.
He told me to try and buy some
land near Fond du Lac where the new
Depot is there was some land pretty
cheap yet and build a mother house
and take the schools in the City They
could assist us more be says Barton
