Dear Sister: Gertrude

Inclosed you will find a letter
you may give to sister Benedicta. I just
came back from Little Chute I got leave
to collect in Detroit but I dont expect to go
myself that is if I cant send no one else.
We are getting along quite well. We have
12 Candidates they are learning real
well and are kept in good order so far
that Margaret from Penn. she is a most
excelent scholar she teaches them in the
morning I never found so good hearted
girl since I been in the Convent she
is pious and has good sence. Your last
letter you wrote me I could hardly read for
the ink was so poor. About Cacilia coming
I can not say presently for she is out
collecting to Port Washington but I am
in hopes to send her very soon Now a sister
to do the washing I dont know one here
it is to bad try and get some one to wash for you
