Dear Sr. Agatha,
We received the sor-
rowful intelligence of dear Sister
Aurea's death. I was on my way
to Kewaskum when the news reached
here. We opened school there and
I should have remained ther longer
to arrange things, but I hastened
home to send the sisters to Kansas.
We had the 1/2 fare passes and the
sisters were ready to start when the
news of your sickness was received.
Now I do not like to send the sisters,
not knowing whether there is a
contagious disease there or not.
