Clear morning - but cold

not much corn planted yet.
Went Mearn's after stuff

Went to Elkton in afternoon

Walked to Scotts Mill to sur-
vey for D. Scott of Jno. Mr Earle
was there. Commenced at W.D.
near Garretts. Found the des-
cription so defective that I
could not locate it, and run
by the holdings. Laid off 50 A
for Benj Scott. Had headache
stayed all night.
