Untranscribed 1862

to see the 2d Del Reg meet with a
number I knew returned to camp
and after supper visited the
hospital again talk
and prayed with the sick

Saturday 21 very wett and raining
visited the Hospital and prayed with
the Sick received a letter from
home and one from Doct Carter
wrote home to my family am in good
health for which I am thankfull

Sunday 22 Preached this afternoon
in the open air from Math 5-8
had a good time our sick sent to
Washington every thing
indicates a forward movements of the
army looking for marching orders any
day the men in fine spirits

Monday 23 nothing new visited the
hospital the col and 150 men
on pickett duty rote home
to my family the weather
very pleasant and
warm
