of the day in lilly Col Straight was
called to the chair and in the act
of unfurling the Stars and Stripes
to one of the collar beams
of the building a Rebel officer enter
ed and took it down and carried it a way
I thought it was a wrong
move on the part of
the prisoners to attempt a demon
stration of the kind under the circ
umstances. I was visited at the time
by Mr. John T. Davison
who wished to here from his mother
and friends he (__) from his
finger a gold ring and gave to me
to give to her when I
got home Prayr this evening by Mr.
Aberhart am well except some
cold. Sunday 5th Bro Hany
preached this morning
from Isah 25 & 6. the Sermon
was good in the afternoon the

against infidelity there being
some bold infidels present
