March
Friday 20th froze very hard last
night the Reg to be back to morrow
nothing special to day visited the
Hospital the sick are improving
wrote home by mail and also
sent a letter home by Mrs
Lee Visited the Brass band
Co herd them play Several
pieces am in good health
for which I feal thankfull

Saterday 21 nothing Special to
day the weather very unpleasant
visited the Sick Emory Lee
and robert Tong spent some
with me in my quarters received
a paper from J.S. Crawford containing
the business of the Phil Conference
was to see Georg Cristie he is
sick at the quarter master
our Reg not yet returned
wrote to Ella Spratt Jane McCauly
Jas S Crawford and to my family
will mail them in the morning
am in good health for which
I am thankfull
