Monday 19th visited the General Hospital in company with Capt Crouch this house is in fine order the sick well cared for having female nurses which I think is better than male.

Tuesday 20 visited the sick of the Reg in their quarters made a proposition to the Col to have prayer on dress parade with a ? of searching the men attended a weding at night married Levi Alexander to a Lady of Baltimore am in good health ? on dress parade the line so long cold here

Wednesday 21 last night cold and today terrible storming rain snow hail and heavy wind have no recollection of ever seeing a more stormy day report came in to camp that one of our picketts was murdered last night am in good health for which I am thankful.
