occupation of an actual group of living men.
It is in that sense only that I presume to attempt
any classification of the sciences. A very considerable
proportion of all the so called classifications

scientia, or ἐπιστήμαι, in the ancient
sense of perfect knowledge. Others are
classifications of not of sciences but of the
objects of systematic knowledge.
