Description

Robert Townsend Hooe partnered with Richard Harrison (of Alexandria, Virginia and later, Cadiz, Spain) to run a store in Alexandria, Virginia, from 1778 through at least 1790. Accounts in this ledger include house (overhead) accounts, fellow merchants and tradesmen, ships, and men and women living in Alexandria and the surrounding area.

This ledger includes 263 accounts across 242 folios. This Work contains folios 60 to 117. Be sure to check out the list of account holders and their associated folios, if you are interested in a specific person.
