This deed, Made this 17 day of July A.D., 1883 by Z. A.Burns & wife Mary Burns & G. G. Burns & wife Martha J. Burns of Guilford County and State of North Carolina to Austin H Welch of Meclingburg County and State of North Carolina WITNESSETH, That said Z. A. Burns & wife Mary Burns & G. G. Burns & wife Martha J. Burns in consideration of Two Hundred Dollars to paid by Austin H. Welch, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold, and by these presents doth bargain, sell and convey to said Austin H. Welch and his heirs, a tract on lot of land in H. P. Guilford County and State of North Carolina bounded as follows, viz : No 35 directly in rear of No 3 - Beginning at a Stone in South West corner of No 34 running East 200 feet as Town plot shows to J. B. Richardsons line then with said line 100 feet to Stone Sam'l Klutt's corner thence West with said Klutt's line 200 feet to a Stone on East side of Back Street and thence 100 feet with Back Street to the Begining corner - containing 20,000 Square feet of Surface.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, Guilford County.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 17 day of July, A.D. 1883 before me, A Notary Public for said County, personally appeared Z. A. Burns & wife Mary Burns G. G. Burns & Wife Martha J. Burns and acknowledged the execution of the foregoing deed. And thereupon the said Mary Burns & MarthaJ. Burns being by me privately examined, separate and apart from Their said husbands touching Their free consent in the execution thereof, doth declare that They had executed the same freely, of Their own will and accord, without any force, fear or undue influence of Their said husbands, or other person, and did still voluntarily assent thereto.

Decr 23rd 1885 The foregoing Certificate of W. H. Ragan Notary Public of Guilford County, is adjudged to be correct. Let the Deed with the Certificate be registered.
