STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, Guilford COUNTY.

I, W. H. Ragan Notary Public do hereby certify that C. B. Hayworth and Francis Hayworth his wife, personally appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due execution of the within deed of conveyance; and the said Francis Hayworth being by me privately examined, separate and apart from her said husband, touching her voluntary execution of the same, doth state that she signed the same freely and voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her husband or any other person, and that she doth still voluntarily assent thereto.

WITNESS my hand and private seal, this 1 day of May, 1893 W. H. Ragan NP [Seal.]

WARRANTY DEED - Edwin D. Steele, Attorney at Law, High Point, N. C.

State of North Carolina, Guilford County.

THIS DEED, made this 4th day of April, 1893, by Cyrus Hayworth & Wife of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, of the first part, to J. W. Harris of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, of the second part, Witnesseth:

That said Cyrus Hayworth & wife in consideration of Ten Dollars, to them paid by J. W. Harris the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold, and by these presents doth bargain, sell and convey to said J. W. Harris his heirs a certain tract or parcel of land in Guilford County, State of North Carolina adjoining the lands of J. W. Harris, Branson Waldon Finch and Simmons and others, bounded as follows, viz:

Commence at Simmons Corner in J. W. Harris line running East 50 feet to a stone Charley Branson corner in J. W. Harris line, Then North 79 feet with Charley Branson line to a stone Waldon corner; Then West down Waldon line 50 feet to Finch and Simmons corner Then with Simmons line South 79 feet to a stone at the commencement.

To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the said J. W. Harris his heirs and assigns, to their only use and behoof forever.

And the said Cyrus Hayworth & Wife covenants with said J. W. Harris his heirs and assigns, that they seized of said premises in fee, and hath right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free and clear from all incumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever.

In Testimony Whereof, The said Cyrus Hayworth & Wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written.
