This Indenture, Made this the Twenty ninth day of
April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-two, between
Banks Tate and wife
Martha Tate
of the County of Rowan, and State of North Carolina, of the first part, and
Miss Julia F. Welch
of the County of Guilford, and State of North Carolina, of the second part,

Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in con-
sideration of the sum of Two hundred and
fifty dollars, to the said parties of the first part
in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained, sold and con-
veyed, and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of
the second part her heirs and assigns, the following described real estate, situate, lying
and being in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, bounded as follows, to wit:

Beginning at a Stone on James-
town Street, and running South
two hundred feet to a Stone, thence
East One hundred and seventy two
feet to a Stone thence North One hun-
dred and forty one feet to a Stone
thence West One hundred and seventy
two feet to the beginning containing
in all One half acre more or
less and is situated in High
Point and adjoins the lands of
Green Bowman and others
